Sano Orthopedics welcomes Sarah Comegys to our care team! Sarah is a Physician Assistant and will see patients in clinic and assist our physicians in surgery. She brings 13 years of orthopedic experience and genuine interest in quality patient care.
Background & Training
Sarah earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Medicine and Athletic Training from Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield, MO in 2004. Sarah worked in Kansas City as a Certified Athletic Trainer. She completed her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Missouri State University in 2006. Sarah is Board Certified as a Physician Assistant by the National Certification Board of Physician Assistants and is licensed by the Kansas and Missouri State Board of Healing Arts.
Sarah is a central Missouri native. Along with her husband, Tanner, and their 2 children, she enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, camping, gardening, and taking care of all their animals. Sarah loves watching her kids on the soccer field and basketball court.
Sarah’s appeal to Orthopedics started in high school. She volunteered on the sidelines of football games and was exposed to the many injuries the athletes sustained. Her growing interests in sports injury, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention paved a path that led her into Athletic Training and ultimately to become an orthopedic PA.
